Typically, this area can be said as fruit basket of Uttrakhand, in summers you can see apple, peaches, plums swinging in the air and a decent scent all around in the air. This place is paradise for people who lovesto take long nature walks in hills, the village has pahadi natives who are by friendly nature, who would direct you to interesting places to see within the village and also more to explore nearby the village.

How to reach

By air: The closest airport is Pantnagar Airport at a distance of 65 kms. Private taxis are available.

By train: Kathgodam Railway station at a distance of 35 kms is the closest rail-head to Chafi. Commercial taxis and private cars are available for your onward journey to Chafi from there.

By road: If you coming from Delhi an overnight bus from Anand Vihar Inter State Bus Terminal will drop you at Haldwani. You can take a private or local taxi to Chafi from there. Best time to visit : The best time to visit Chafi is during the summer months from March to June.
