Gwaldam offers fascinating route amidst thick pine forests, against the backdrop of the Himalayas. Gwaldam offers trek routes to the mysterious Roopkund lake, Badhangadi temple, Kuari pass, Nanda devi yatra, also offers bewitching natural beauty in form of waterfalls, pine & oak forests, gushing rivulets and streams. This beautiful region do offer any small hike to unparallel Himalayan view. Gwaldam offers several apple orchards, snow-capped mountains, the valley that stretches for miles has the river Pindari flowing through it. This small hamlet with its far spread fields is one of nature’s joys.

How to reach

By air: The closest airport is Pantnagar airport at a distance of 212 kms. Private taxis are available.

By train: Kathgodam is the nearest railway station approx. 180 Kms.  Commercial taxis and private cars are available for your onward journey to Gwaldam from there.

By road: If you coming from Delhi an overnight bus from Anand Vihar Inter State Bus Terminal will drop you at Almora. Its approx. 451 Kms far from Delhi.
