MUSSOORIE

Mussoorie is a famous hill station in the northern part of Indian Country situated in the low lying hills of Garhwal Himalayan hills in the state of Uttarakhand. Travelling of about 35km away from the capital Dehradun and about 290km towards north from the Indian capital New Delhi, an individual reaches its destination i.e. Dehradun. It is most prominently called as Queen of Hills based on the ranges it contains. The edging town of the city of Landour, which consists of military assessments and organizations, is regarded as the greater Mussoorie because of consisting towns of Barlowhganj and the Jharipani.

Kempty Falls

The scenic beauty of Kempty Falls is located on the hilly areas of Uttarakhand in India. About 15km from the region of Mussoorie, it falls on the roads of Chakrata. This place is located of about 1364 meters high of sea level. It is supported by several high mountain hill ranges all of which are located about 4500 feet high is considered for all sorts of picnic visiting places where you can spend some hours peacefully relaxing yourself by the magical sounds produced by water in the middle of surrounding verdure.

Bhatta Falls

It is considered as of the greatest attractions for tourists in the regions of Mussoorie. By travelling of about 7kms from the town of midst city, it is considered as one of the most visited tourist attractions. The falls consists of some of the prominent picture taking visuals with a limited stream flowing in between the site. The stream consists of algae which results in unfitting for swimming purposes. This small pond offers great opportunities which are specially meant for tourists to enjoy and have a special time spending there. This little pond allows the access for swimming and boating facilities. So, not to upset the tourists for unable to grant swimming in falls, they have developed it to fulfill this desire.

Sir George Everest’s House

Park Estate is wherever one will notice the remains of the building and laboratory of Sir St. George Everest, the Surveyor-General of India from 1830 to 1843. It’s when St. George Everest that the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest is known as. It six kilometer from Gandhi Chowk / Library Bazaar and is accessible by vehicle, though the road is extremely rough on the far side Haathi Paon. The place provides a read of Doon depression on one facet and a perspective of the Aglar watercourse depression and therefore the snow peaks of the range on the opposite.
