MUNSYARI

Nested in Himalayan lap of Kumaon region, known as Kashmir of Uttrakhand or Little Kashmir. This scenic hill station is perched at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level. Offers stunning mesmerising view of snow capped Himalayan range of Panchachuli “a group of five peaks”, Nanda devi, Nada Kot and Rajrambha. Peaks of Nepal also can be easily visible from here. This place offers a pure virgin serenity with breath taking Himalayan surroundings.  Munsyari is a cosy hamlet also famous for being gateway to world famous treks of Milam, Namik & Ralam glacier. These Glacier’s trek routes are lies on an ancient Indo- Tibet trade route. Birthi Falls, Nanda Devi Temple, Thamri Kund, Munsiyari Tulip Garden & Eco Park, Tribal Heritage Museum, Maheshwari Kund & Khaliya Top are to name a few places to roam around Munsyari. How to reach

By air: The closest airport is Pantnagar airport at a distance of 250 kms. Private taxis are available.

By train: Kathgodam is the nearest railway station approx. 220 Kms.  Commercial taxis and private cars are available for your onward journey to Munsyari.

By road: If you coming from Delhi you need to take more than 02 buses, first bus from Anand Vihar Inter State Bus Terminal will drop you at Pithorgarh from here you can take another bus to Munsyari. Its approx. 535 Kms far from Delhi.
