Chamoli is also a border district of Indian republic where its border touches Tibet region in its north. How to reach

By air: The closest airport is Jollygrant airport at a distance of 132 kms. Private taxis are available.

By train: Rishikesh & Haridwar both Railway stations are the closest rail-head to Chamoli approx. 132 Kms away. Commercial taxis and private cars are available for your onward journey to New Tehri from there.

By road: If you coming from Delhi an overnight bus from Anand Vihar Inter State Bus Terminal will drop you at Rishikesh. You can take a private or local taxi to Chamoli from there. From all other places/ cities of Uttrakhand it is well connected. Chamoli district stands 296 km away from Delhi and around 147 km from Dehradun.
