RUDRADHARI TEMPLE AND WATERFALL

Rudradhari fall is situated in hilI region of Kausani- The Switzerland of India . It is 12 Kms far from Kausani market, though motor road is not in very good condition but still its pretty adventures motorable drive. During the way you will be mesmerised by the view of lush green paddy field, beautiful hill villages, valley and riversides. After motor road its approximately 1.5 Kms moderate jungle trek, for which you can easily get local guides to take you along the astonishing waterfall. Rudradhari waterfall is blessed with natures flora and fauna. Leopard, beer, Himalayan martins, barking deer, ghoral, sambhar deer, wild boar etc. can be commonly sighted. The main temple comples comprises of majestic waterfall commonly known as Rudradhari fall which is a seasonal waterfall and beatuiful Lord shiv’s temple in the mountain. This temple is surrounded by many ancient caves, nature’s bliss, rich jungle and very impressive picturesque location.

HOW TO REACH

By Train/By Road: The nearest railway station to Kausani is Kathgodam, which is approx 150 km away from here. By Road you can take straight 16 hours drive to Kausani from Delhi. Kausani is well connected from all major cities by road.

By Air: The closest airport is at Pantnagar, which is placed around 9 hours drive away. Pantanagar have few scheduled flights from Delhi.
